Kids and Tipis

The last two weeks kindergarten students have been using the 18' tipi and the smaller 10' tipi for outdoor classrooms. Students listened to stories and rested on their mats during rest time.

Mr. Klassy even rolled the big community drum out to the tipi and the students drummed to the beat of a song or two. It's great fun being in a classroom where you can look up at the blue sky through the smoke flaps and hear the birds sing nearby.
