Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

We had lots of fun last Thursday on our field trip to the Fire Station, Woodland Park for lunch and finally to Sweet Pickin's Pumpkin Patch. A big "Thank you" to the parents that came along to help out. We had a beautiful fall day for eating our lunch outside at Woodland Park with lots of ducks, fall colors, and different playground equipment to play on. The Pumpkin Patch was packed full of fun activities and the children rode carts and bikes, petted animals, jumped on the pumpkin pillow, played in the corn and dug in the sand, had rides on the cow train and rode out on the tractor trailers to the pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin. A big "Thank you" to Kevin our bus driver for buying us a big, yummy bag of Kettle Corn. We escaped a big rainy downpour by going into the Party Barn and celebrating Josiah's birthday by eating blue penguin cupcakes. Thank you Amy for your perfect timing with the party treats!
